FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM - An Introduction to Relational Psychoanalysis

The TICP Fellowship Program is an introductory course for mental health practitioners involved in clinical practice, who wish to become familiar with the new and exciting concepts of Relational Psychoanalysis. The program consists of fifteen weekly two-hour seminars divided into three 5 week modules. No previous psychoanalytic experience is required.

 

THE NEXT FELLOWSHIP PRORAM WILL BE HELD WINTER 2011; APPLICATIONS DUE NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 31, 2010

 

MODULE 1

A comparative study of psychodynamic theories and the development of the Relational model.

MODULE 2

The relational turn in regard to foundational psychoanalytic concepts, to include the unconscious; transference and countertransference; narcissism; multiplicity; dissociation and trauma; the analytic third; enactment; intersubjectivity; co-construction; and authenticity.

MODULE 3

Group supervision of the participants' clinical material with an expert Relational clinician.

TUITION

$1,200.00, including Guest Membership in the Toronto Society for Contemporary Psychoanalysis for the duration of the Fellowship Program
