ABOUT THE TICP WEBSITE

The Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis (TICP) provides this site as a service to the Web's psychoanalytic community, and to the public in general. The site's menu links to information on the institute, its members, programs, services, and events.

In the spirit of the TICP's comparative/integrative philosophy, this site's content reflects not only established movements, but also the more recent, innovative, orientations in psychoanalytic theory and practice.

TICP 2010 Fall Reception ~ October 2, 2010

The TICP Executive Board welcomes back Faculty, Graudates, Candidates, Society Members and Guests, with a particular welcome to the incoming Year One class. The reception will be held after the day's conference with Dr. Philip Bromberg.

Location: Victoria University (in the University of Toronto), Senior Common Room, Main Floor, Burwash Hall, 89 Charles St. W., Toronto.

FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM: CLINICAL PRINCIPLES & APPLICATIONS

A Thirty-Session Certificate Program, from September 2011 - April 2012

THis is a clinically-focused program for those desiring to learn the basic principles and applications of psychoanalytic therapy. This program will also help prepare those interested in applying to the four-year Psychoanalytic Training Program at the TICP, who do not have training in psychoanalytic therapy.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS May 1, 2011.
